The Role

As a Bridging Underwriter, you will play a key role in lending operations, ensuring accurate assessment and timely processing of applications. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing bridging loan applications, conducting in-depth due diligence to make informed lending decisions.
• Reviewing valuation reports, credit history, and legal documentation.
• Managing communications with brokers, solicitors, and clients to resolve queries effectively.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Delivering a high standard of service while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Bridging Underwriter or within a similar underwriting role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a keen focus on managing risk.
• An understanding of the bridging finance market and relevant FCA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and maintain positive relationships.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic and growing business environment.
