We’re recruiting for a well-established and growing engineering and manufacturing business in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a supportive finance team in a varied role with genuine scope to make an impact.

The Role
As Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate monthly management accounts and providing financial insight to support business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts from start to finish
- Presenting financial results at review meetings and supporting both finance and operational managers
- Producing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries
- Preparing financial reports, budgets, cash flow analysis and forecasts
- Supporting revenue reporting and finance improvement projects
- Using your strong Excel skills to analyse data and produce meaningful reports
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous Management Accounting experience
- Strong month-end reporting and balance sheet knowledge
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- AAT Qualified, Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or Qualified by Experience
