Job Description
ALF are proud to be working with a great company in the Stockport area, who are looking for an Immediate Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.
This role will be initially offered a temporary basis with a view of going permanent.
Monday – Friday fully office based 8am-4pm / 9am- 5pm with an hour lunch
Benefits:

The Role:
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will have sole responsibility for the Purchase Leger Function, managing approximately 500 invoices per month.
- Processing High Volume Supplier Invoices
- Coding Invoices accurately
- Handling Supplier Queries
- Bank Reconciliations
- Processing Expense and Company Credit Card
- Excel-Based Reporting and Data Work
This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail an ability to manage workload efficiently.
What we are looking for:
- Must have strong experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
- Comfortable working in a sole position (full training and support from Management Accountant and wider finance team)
- Strong Excel
- Confident managing High Supplier queries
- High attention to detail
