This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business with an expanding portfolio across [commercial / residential / mixed-use] assets. You’ll be a key member of the senior team, driving financial performance, process improvement, and strategic decision-making.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you’ll oversee all financial operations and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accounting, reporting, and compliance. Working closely with the Directors, you’ll provide clear financial insight to support business growth and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing management accounts, cashflow forecasting, and budgets
- Producing monthly and year-end financial reports
- Managing audit and statutory compliance
- Supporting acquisition due diligence and investment modelling
- Implementing robust financial controls and process improvements
- Leading and developing a small finance team
- Business partnering with operational and asset management teams
About You
You’re a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with solid experience in the property or real estate sector – ideally spanning development, investment, or asset management. You’ll bring both technical strength and commercial acumen, with a hands-on approach and the confidence to shape financial strategy.
You’ll also have:
- Strong understanding of property accounting (SPVs, VAT, service charges)
- Experience with consolidated reporting and cashflow forecasting
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
