Role Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis across the business. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in producing accurate monthly management accounts and driving financial insight across your designated area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production of monthly management accounts, including turnover reconciliation, prepayments, and accruals, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Maintain and update lead schedules to support balance sheet reconciliations
  • Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Deliver insightful cost control and income statement analysis, identifying opportunities to reduce overheads
  • Assist in the preparation of P11D and FCA returns, along with quarterly VAT submissions
  • Support year-end processes, including liaising with internal and external auditors
  • Manage the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation calculations
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and statutory accounts disclosures
  • Assist with monthly group consolidation processes
  • Provide support to the Purchase Ledger team when required
  • Take on additional ad hoc duties as needed to support the wider finance function
  • Uphold company values in all aspects of the role

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
  • Proven experience preparing monthly management accounts
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Sage 200 is desirable but not essential
